There's no need to bring your tinfoil-hat out yet because this was propably a debris from two satellites that collided over Siperia last week. The collision produced huge amount of space debris. It wasn't no little-hit-in-minimum-speed -type of collision. The satellites collided at 6.2 miles (10 kilometers) per second, producing 500 to 600 pieces of space debris, NASA said.
